Hunters and Gatherers

We source a lot of our seeds from our own garden and neighborhood, but for those trees and plants that aren’t native to our Zone, we have to get them from elsewhere! 

Seed gathering is a nice reason to go on trips across the country, and we are able to gather a lot of items from those travels. New experiences, new places, and seeds to boot? Sign us up! 

Once they’re gathered, we have to separate them, harvest them, break open the seed pods or allow them to roast and unveil themselves naturally. Sometimes we run out of room with all of the different varieties we’ve accumulated. After that comes the testing to ensure the seeds are viable and ready to sell.
